192.168.1.1 router login
How to find your router's address and get into its settings.
The short answer
While connected to your home network, type your router's address into the browser's address bar. It is usually 192.168.1.1, 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1. The username and password are normally printed on a sticker on the router, unless you changed them. Many newer routers are managed through a phone app instead.

If the login page won't load
- Make sure you are connected to the router's network, not mobile data or a guest network.
- Type
http://in front of the address, and turn off any VPN. - Mesh systems such as eero and Google Nest Wifi have no browser login; use their app.
- If you forgot a changed password, a factory reset (hold the reset button for about 10 seconds) restores the sticker credentials, but also erases your settings.
Once you're in, these guides help: best Wi-Fi channel and fix bufferbloat.

Questions

Your router probably uses a different address. Check your device's default gateway, make sure you're on the home network, and turn off any VPN.
